For years, Alpine Geraniums have graced the balconies and window boxes of European homes. Cascade Alpine Geraniums grow like a mushroom cap, mounding and gently cascading over baskets, balconies and boxes 12"-16". The MASSES of self-cleaning, small single flowers form 1.5" blooms clusters on top of the free-branching small ivy shaped foliage. More heat, drought and humidity tolerant than the classic trailing ivy geraniums they can be grown in most climates. The mass of flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies but not the deer and rabbits. In the south Alpine Ivy Geraniums perform best if grown in filtered sun or shade during the hottest part of the afternoon.
